Audience Reviews

Rogue Festival has no jury to award prizes. We only give out “Sold Out” awards for those shows that get butts in seats. So YOUR REVIEWS are very important! After you see a show at the 2024 Rogue Festival, leave a short review here. It’s also a great way to add to the word-of-mouth on shows!

Scroll to the bottom or visit your show’s page to leave a review. Be sure to include the following:
*The name of the show and the venue
*The name of the performer
*What you liked about it
*Any constructive suggestions you might give
*What kind of person would love to see the show

Please keep in mind that we approve reviews before posting. We will not post any comments that include harassing, demeaning, or trolling language. We will also hold back comments that are irrelevant to the show as performed. Artists love your feedback, so long as it is given in good faith!

  1. I was so fortunate to see The Madeline Minx Cabaret show. It was everything I had hoped for and more. She sings beautifully, dances, and tells heartwarming stories that make you laugh and cry.
She is so talented and shares her experience on being human. We all get pulled into her relatable stories. I 100% recommend this show. I will definitely go see her again if given the opportunity.

  2. Will not have the time to leave good reviews between shows, so here is a modest preview of the shows on today’s docket:

    Cassandra Stafford and Olyvia Stafford

THRUPLE TREAT FOR HIT OF THE YEAR!!! Such a resounding voice and superb dancing! The storytelling is historic and harsh, but rendered in a spiritual way. Get yourselves in seats, People!!!

  7. The Magic of Eric was awesome! Our group of four left with our mouths agape…how did he do it?! We brought our adult kids and even they were impressed! The show was very enjoyable and fun. Eric and Liz know how to perform and get the audience involved—whether they’re 4 or 94. I did not expect to have that much fun! Great job, Eric!!

  8. DYSFUNCTIONAL- WOW! There’s a very good reason this show keeps selling it out, it’s FANTASTIC. Not only are the musicians very talented, you can feel the heart and soul that they put into every note, beat, syllable. The music is empowering, the messages are impactful, and I left the show feeling uplifted and moved.
There’s one more show left on Saturday as of the time I’m posting this review – This is a show you do not want to miss! Buy your ticket now, It will sell out!

  9. Andre’s Cabaway Day Majeek!
This show is exactly what it wants to be, a goofy, adult, late night mix of magic, comedy, and cabaret. The performers clearly love messing with each other as much as they love messing with the audience, and that playful chaos makes the whole thing a lot of fun to watch.

The magic is genuinely impressive, the jokes are unapologetically inappropriate, and the whole show has that slightly unhinged vaudeville vibe that keeps the laughs coming. Throw in a little sparkle and attitude and you’ve got a great way to spend an evening if you’re in the mood for something silly, a little sexy, and not taking itself too seriously. 🎩✨

  10. The Madeline Minx Cabaret: Still Not Domesticated is a one‑person show bursting with the energy of a full ensemble. Noemi Zeigler slips between characters drawn from her mother, her school days, and the managers and gatekeepers who shaped her path, delivering each with sharp humor and emotional bite. Every persona adds a skeptical or wry twist to the chaotic pursuit of ambition.

This isn’t your grandmother’s cup of tea, but it’s absolutely worth your time: bold, funny, and delivered with the kind of chutzpah that refuses to be domesticated.

  11. Cassini project was awe inspiring! A Very professional and beautiful story. The backup opera singers were the topping on the show.
    Thank you, Tony and Eileen

  12. Erika MacDonald: TeaTIME at the Lotus Room

What a Rogue treat! Erika is back with a delightful message about moments and steeping that really resonates.

  13. My Dead Uncle’s Porn Collection at Vista Theater
Barbara’s tale is compelling, funny, and heartbreaking in equal measure. Highly recommend.

  14. Once More, Before I Go at The Grove at Veni’s

AirplaneJayne takes you on a wild ride through some of her life adventures, and it is WELL worth your time to ride along with her.

  15. My Dead Uncle’s Porn Collection
    Barbara Brady

Moving story. You are going to hate the uncle, and the mom, and slightly less the sister. Definitely for an adult audience.

  16. Wanderlust
    Martin Dockery

    It’s Martin Dockery.
    It’s hilarious.
    It encompasses other continents.
It is Martin Dockery, enough said?

  17. Once More, Before I Go
    HeyDay Productions

If you know Airplane Jayne, you know that her history is convoluted,. If you don’t know Airplane Jayne, come hear how her life has been hilariously convoluted!

  18. Guess What at Anzula ~ loved the game show and audience participation. Lots of fun and community support during these crazy times. Definitely recommend!

  19. Saving Throw vs Fresno
    Apocalypse Hoedown Productions

Not personally ever been into D&D, but this effing nerdfest is so funny! Come see this show, People, especially if you are/ever have been a nerd/geek. Wait…nerdie/geekiness is not mandatory – just come see this delightful show.

  20. We Will Rise
    SmileyFrown Entertainment

So massively powerful! Powerful doesn’t mean full of fun, sometimes it just means full of feelings. Sometimes it means that not everyone gets over tragedy unscathed. This is a story of people that have been scathed.

  21. A Hot Flash Gospel
    LadyK

NEW TIE FOR RUNAWAY HIT OF THE YEAR!!! Have heard LadyK at poetry slams, but this show is so sustained and powerful. Always love her words, and a full show has my arms stretched as far as they can go, that is how much love she gave the audience!!!

  22. Erica McDonald’s Tea TIME. Lotus Room. Thoughtful, delightful, beautifully crafted, and unlike anything you’ve ever seen anywhere else. It must see!

  23. Wikipedilove at Hart’s Hangout
Noam Osband does it again! This new show is every bit as funny and raucous as Brother Love. Who knew Wikipedia could be so entertaining! Don’t miss this one!

  24. Dysfunction at Arts Annex
This powerful and empowering musical by Ke’Lea Flowers is a MUST SEE! The vocalists and instrumentalists created a mesmerizing performance that left me laughing, crying, and on the edge of my seat. I cannot recommend this experience enough. Get there early because the venue is tiny.

  25. Cassini Live, Tony Imperatrice
    Hart’s Haven
What a treat watch the amazing Cassini journey set to the beautiful music of Tony Imperatrice. The vocalist was outstanding, and the entire experience was incredibly moving. Loved every minute.

  26. I took my husband to see the “Andre’s cabaway day Majeek burlesque-naughty magic-luuve” show and when I tell you we haven’t laughed that hard in a long time we left with our cheeks hurting from smiling. This show is hilarious. You would think these three were improving the whole time, but I’m pretty sure some of it was part of the routine. The crowd was really engaging as well. Not gonna lie the beautiful lady’s naughty Time luuve moment will leave you hot and bothered. Overall great time, lots of laughs, very entertaining and sexy AF🙌😈🤘😘😛🙏💚💚💚

  27. Bingo Comedy
    Hart’s Hangout

Wow, Joey Rinaldi has brought another FUNNY show to The Rogue!!! And there is the possibility of prizes!

  28. Cabaret of Classics
    Dianna’s

Enjoyed this show immensely! Wish that my body could move in the way that these women can.

  29. The KLH Scrapbook
    Veni Vidi Vici

  30. Improvised Comedic Theater
    Veni Vidi Vici

Well, these folks have put on another fun show! Never going to see the same performance twice! Many chuckles to be had.

  31. DYSFUNCTION
    Arts Annex

MY RUNAWAY HIT OF THE YEAR!!! An amazing performance that takes on mean topics and turns them into songs of hope.

    This.Musical.Needs.To.Go.To.Broadway!!!

  32. Aleño Dance Project – Rooted, Reaching: We Carry Each Other – Hart’s Haven

This show was a real treat. The audience moves with the dancers as they navigate the spaces outside and within Hart’s Haven. The dancers demonstrate both technical ability and responsiveness, as they must consider the at times confined performance spaces and how an audience that often shares the “stage” with them. More Rogue shows should find ways to have the audience move with the show! There was a minor technical glitch during the first show, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker at all; to the dancers’ credit, they were able to keep the show going. This show offers a wide array of dance styles to enjoy.

  33. Tony Imperatrice – Cassini Live – Hart’s Haven
Don’t miss this live performance of the award-winning experimental short film about the spacecraft Cassini’s mission to explore Saturn and its moons. Tony’s music beautifully accompanies the film’s compelling images, and Bernadette LaMontagne-Schenck’s vocals are haunting as the “voice” of Cassini.

  34. “Spilled Dictators” feels WAY TOO TIMELY in our current political situation. And given how timely it is, it feels WAY TOO WELL DONE. It’s impossible to watch without being reminded of the arrests and detentions currently targeting “blue cities” putting people away for what Orwell would have called “thought crime.” And yet, it also managed to be funny and poignant along the way.

It’s a little bit like observing the mating rituals of Kristi Noem and Corey Lewandowski…

  35. Spilled Dictators
    The Grove

This sh+t is happening here and now, People. See this show, get peeved, and be scared for the future of our grandchildren. Also, not going to spoil the ending.

  36. Man Cave I & II
    The Grove

Saw them in sequential order, and loved them both! Loved them because Tim Mooney is an amazing performer, and also WE ARE THERE, PEOPLE! We need to do better as humans. If you can see them in order, do that, but if you cannot, you will not be wrecked.

  37. Preview of The 2026 Rogue Festival:

So many shows this year, but I cannot see them all! Here is my list of heartbreakers that would not fit into the schedule:

    David Spencer
    Emily Amok
    Eve Reiland
    Noemi Zeigler
    Jaguar Bennett
    Fresno State Creative Writing
    Minion Productions
    Aleño Dance
    Elastic Ink

Please, People of Earth, go see these shows and make me jealous!!!
