SUMMARY:Let’s Talk Libraries with a Lively Drag Story Hour
DESCRIPTION:Morrigana will be dressed to the nines in glorious drag and selecting from a variety of children’s illustrated books each featuring a library experience. Each performance will feature different books\, so be ready for a variety with each showtime. Then Brooke will be book chic as she demonstrates how you the audience can help bring a Fresno County Public Library back to the Tower District. She’ll take you on a scroll through TowerLibrary.org so you can see what has happened\, and what needs to happen to make this a reality. There will also be an opportunity to grab a form to get a Fresno County Public Library card if you don’t already have one\, as well as an opportunity for those who qualify to be a part of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Brooke also hand makes items that will be available for purchase with the proceeds going to a Tower District Library fund. \nBuy Tickets

SUMMARY:spirit mending
DESCRIPTION:Under the artistic direction of Beth Megill\, Megill & Company delivers another remarkable show for Rogue fans—one full of warmth and generosity of spirit. SUMMARY:Charming Disaster's Musical Oracle
DESCRIPTION:Charming Disaster’s Musical Oracle is an interactive concert where songs are selected by chance when audience members draw cards from the Charming Disaster Oracle Deck. This Tarot-style card divination not only determines the set list\, but also provides insight into the mysterious workings of destiny (and makes each performance completely unique). NYC goth-folk duo Charming Disaster’s original music is inspired by myth\, magic\, monsters\, and mortality. What does the future hold? Find out before it’s too late… \nCharming Disaster is a goth-folk musical duo based in Brooklyn\, NY\, formed in 2012 by Ellia Bisker and Jeff Morris. Inspired by the macabre humor of Edward Gorey and Tim Burton\, the murder ballads of the Americana tradition\, and the dramatic flair of the cabaret\, they write playfully dark songs about death\, crime\, myth\, magic\, science\, and the occult. Charming Disaster’s music has been featured on the podcast Welcome to Night Vale\, they have toured the United States\, Europe and the UK\, and they have opened for Rasputina\, Voltaire\, and The Dresden Dolls. Recent appearances include the Rochester Fringe Festival\, the Edinburgh Horror Festival\, and Dragon Con. Their seventh album\, The Double\, was released in May 2025 to critical acclaim. \nBuy Tickets

SUMMARY:Life Reflection Songs
DESCRIPTION:This show conjures feelings coming from memories walking down Blackstone Avenue in the bloom of first love in the early 70s with pockets full of paper boy money and a mind filled with fm radio and the echoes of tribal gatherings at Selland Arena\, later fed by wage slave routines and spiritual bike rides through central Fresno\, on up to the modern era where many seem lost in a phone scroll and political dysfunction. The music has roots in folk blues\, reggae\, and the best of the singer songwriters of my time in my vocals and guitar\, with Jeff Hallock backing on harmonica. \nBuy Tickets

SUMMARY:Spilled Dictators by Andrew Rosdail

Playwright Andrew Rosdail wrote his original draft of the play in 2012 after the death of Kim Jong II\, when there were reports of mourners being punished for insufficient grief at his funeral. Rosdail revised the script in 2017\, a few months after the first inauguration of our current president. \nDirected by Renée Newlove. A talkback follows each performance. \nBuy Tickets

SUMMARY:DYSFUNCTION: A New Musical - In Concert!
DESCRIPTION:DYSFUNCTION is a healing journey put on stage. The show is about love\, pain\, trauma\, and how – with community – we can move forward from things that happen to us. The show teaches us that no one is above dysfunction and no one is below healing. \nThis is not one story. It is a collection of stories told through various mediums by a company of multicultural and intergenerational vocalists and instrumentalists. \nThis is not one genre. Using various musical styles in the score\, there is room for these songs to be performed in the way that best serves each story in itself\, while also giving the audience a playlist that will have something for everyone. \nWe hope that you see yourself in this show and can’t wait to share this music with you! \nBuy Tickets

SUMMARY:Jon Bennett: This Will Only Ever Happen Once
DESCRIPTION:A hilarious and moving show by world-renowned Aussie comedian Jon Bennett (Fire in the Meth Lab\, Pretending Things are a C*ck\, AMERICAN’T) about life’s unrepeatable moments. \nA therapist once told me that my relentless drive to perform comes from the same place as my obsession with wildlife: “Because both are rare\, unpredictable\, and fleeting.” That insight inspired this show. \nTHIS is a live storytelling experience that explores the powerful connection between the magic of live performance and the thrill of encountering wild animals. It’s about presence\, risk\, and wonder\, and the feeling that what you’re witnessing will never happen quite the same way again. \nUsing multimedia\, comedy\, and true stories from 17 years of touring through 58 countries\, I share unforgettable moments from the weirdest gigs to the most surprising animal encounters. The show draws compelling parallels between nature and theatre\, two things that ask us to pay attention\, be present\, and embrace the unpredictable. \nAudiences can expect a funny\, heartfelt\, visually rich show that leaves them with a renewed love of live performance\, a deeper respect for wildlife\, and a better understanding of why we must protect what cannot be repeated\, on stage or in the wild. \nAwards: \n7 X Just for Laughs Award nominee (Montreal Fringe\, 2011-2017) \n12 X Selection – The Moth Main Stage (NYC\, London\, Boston\, LA\, Austin) \n2 X Best Comedy Award nominee (Sydney Fringe\, 2023) \nBest Storytelling Award Winner (Sydney Fringe\, 2023) \nNational Artist of the Year Winner (St. Louis Fringe\, 2022) \nInspiration Award Winner (Minnesota Fringe\, 2022) \n2 X NY Times Best Seller (The Moth Occasional Magic\, 2019; How to Tell a Story\, 2022) \nSelected Off Broadway – Soho Theatre (New York\, 2019) \n2 X The Moth Story Slam Winner (New York\, 2014; LA\, 2019) \nBest Storyteller Award Winner (Victoria Fringe\, 2019) \nOutstanding Storytelling Award Winner (London Fringe\, 2018) \n5 X Best Comedy Award nominee (Perth Fringe\, 2012-2015\, 2018) \nBest Performer & Best Script Award Winner (Nelson Fringe\, 2018) \nBest Comedy Award Winner (Victoria Fringe\, 2017; San Diego Fringe\, 2018) \n2 X Best International Comedian nominee (New Zealand Comedy Awards\, 2017-2018) \nSelected Cruise Ship Guest Entertainer (Princess Cruises\, Norwegian Cruise Lines\, 2018\, 2019\, 2023) \nProducers Pick Award Winner (London Fringe\, 2017) \nBest Performance Winner (Victoria Fringe\, 2016) \nGolden Gibbo Award nominee (Melbourne International Comedy Festival\, 2015) \nFunniest Show Award Winner (London Fringe\, 2015) \nPick of the Fringe Award Winner (Calgary Fringe\, 2015; Boulder Fringe\, 2015) \nCritics Choice Award Winner (Orlando Fringe\, 2015) \nCritics Pick of the Fringe Award Winner (San Diego Fringe\, 2014) \n2 X Selection – Just for Laughs Zoofest (Montreal\, 2013-2014) \nPick of the Fringe Award Winner (Winnipeg Fringe\, 2011) \nCritical Acclaim: \n“Armed only with self-deprecating wit and memories\, Bennett reminds us that ordinary people lead extraordinary lives. ★★★★★” – The Sunday Mail (AUS) \n“Bennett has an uncanny and unnerving ability to make you crease up with laughter before dropping a perfectly timed bombshell.” ★★★★ – Time Out (UK) \n“Bennett is the patron saint of storytelling. ★★★★★” – Broadway Baby (UK) \n“Bennett is a joy to watch. SUMMARY:The Madeline Minx Cabaret: Still Not Domesticated
DESCRIPTION:The Madeline Minx Cabaret: Still Not Domesticated is a sexy\, funny\, music-driven evening of storytelling\, stand-up comedy\, ambition\, and unapologetic 90s pop nostalgia. \nMadeline Minx sings\, rants\, jokes\, and whines her way through a lifelong obsession with pop stardom. Raised on music videos\, power ballads\, and the belief that girls were allowed to take up space\, she traces her journey from making movies on VHS to hosting her own kitchen talk show\, to chaotic brushes with fame and near misses with the spotlight. If Marty Supreme gets to be ambitious\, she’s taking her turn at the reins. \nOnstage\, Noemi Zeigler summons her pop alter ego\, Madeline Minx\, and lets her confidence drive. The cabaret blends sharp stand-up\, original songs\, and iconic covers with bold storytelling\, screening documentary clips of Minx’s ballsy\, unfiltered mother alongside her own music videos. Big hooks meet big laughs. Glamour collides with grit. The fantasy of fame refuses to be put out to pasture. Some horses were never meant to be domesticated. \nThere is playful audience interaction\, including moments where the crowd is warmly encouraged to sing along. Participation is joyful\, easy\, and part of the fun. \nSpecial musical guest Noam Osband (“Circumscribed”\, “Wikipedilove”) joins Minx onstage on select dates (Feb 28\, March 1 & March 7). Osband’s solo show Circumscribed took audiences by storm at last year’s Rogue Festival\, and his presence brings an extra layer of play\, spontaneity\, and musical conversation. \nCreator and performer Noemi Zeigler previously brought her acclaimed solo show You’ve Been Served to the Rogue Festival\, the Winnipeg Fringe Festival\, the Edmonton Fringe Festival\, and The Marsh Theater in San Francisco. Her show was also featured on CBC Radio and in the Jewish Post & News. \nAward-winning playwright and performer Tim Mooney praised You’ve Been Served for its “wild swings between outrage and vulnerability\,” highlighting its “moments of hope and pure joy.” Writing in the Winnipeg Free Press\, Jen Zoratti called it “a well written show\, full of perceptive\, funny and sometimes heartbreaking details\,” adding that Zeigler “can sing too.” Dramaturg David Ford places her in the tradition of great redhead comediennes like Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett. \nThe Madeline Minx Cabaret is not a sequel and not a surrender. It’s a new ride. Wilder\, looser\, funnier\, and fueled by pop hooks\, sharp jokes\, and the confidence that comes from letting the boldest version of yourself stay in the room. \nIf you’ve ever dreamed loudly\, laughed hard\, or refused to behave quietly just because time passed\, saddle up. Madeline Minx is still running. \nSpecial musical guest Noam Osband (“Circumscribed”\, “Wikipedilove”) joins Minx onstage on select dates (Feb 28\, March 1 & March 7). \nBuy Tickets

SUMMARY:Bloody Fairytales: Paul Strickland
DESCRIPTION:Bloody Fairytales is a performance of gorgeous\, gruesome old stories told new… dark fairytales re-upholstered for adult ears and late-night imaginations.\nTold live by International Storytelling Center Teller-in-Residence and National Storytelling Festival Featured Teller Paul Strickland\, these are the stories that are strange\, darkly funny\, unsettling\, and occasionally feral. Chock full of bad decisions\, sharp turns\, and endings that will stay with you long after you leave the venue.\nStrickland has been called a “Master Storyteller” by the Cincinnati Enquirer and described as “Mark Twain on acid” by Artistry Magazine. A more-than-20-time Best-of-Fest winner\, he’s performed at major festivals and venues across the U.S.\, blending folklore\, dark humor\, and razor-sharp timing into performances that feel intimate\, dangerous\, and wildly entertaining.\nBloody Fairytales leans into the shadows of classic tales… the blood\, the longing\, the bargains that go wrong… but lets them breathe again in front of a grown-up audience\, and find new life a time when Unhinged and Unapologetic surrealistic stories ring\, possibly\, truer than ever. \nBuy Tickets

SUMMARY:69\, Emil Amok's Trump Derangement Syndrome--A Real Journalist Stands Up
DESCRIPTION:Since you last saw him\, Emil Amok’s one man show has evolved as the world continues on it’s current path.\n“69\, Emil Amok: Trump Derangement Syndrome? A Real Newsman Stands Up\,” is a fast\, fearless\, funny one-man show by journalist\, humorist\, and poet laureate Emil Amok Guillermo. He turns a milestone birthday—and a full-blown case of Trump Derangement Syndrome—into a comic reckoning with aging\, politics\, race\, family\, and American absurdity. \nHe simply is trying to figure out what is going on with the world. \nIn trying to figure that out\, Guillermo addresses headlines and riffs on growing older\, life after the newsroom\, his immigrant roots\, his trans-daughter\, and what it means to stay sane (or joyfully deranged) in the Trump era. \nSmart\, personal\, unapologetically political\, the show proves that getting older doesn’t mean calming down\, especially when democracy is on the line. \nThe show will leave you literally laughing. \nABOUT EMIL AMOK GUILLERMO\nSan Francisco native Emil Amok Guillermo is a journalist\, humorist\, playwright\, and poet laureate whose work has appeared in print\, on radio\, and on stages across North America\, from San Francisco to Fresno to New York. A former host of NPR’s “All Things Considered\,” and longtime columnist\, Guillermo is known for blending politics\, race\, culture\, and comedy into performances that challenge audiences to laugh—and think—at the same time. \nWhat critics say about his work:\n“Comical\, often profound observations.” —Manhattan Digest.\n“Standup\, monologue\, rant? Enjoy keeping pace with Guillermo’s brilliant mind…funny poignant.” —Orlando Weekly.\n“Emil Amok Spans Generations\, Voices\, Identities.” Thinking Theater NYC \nSee his micro talk show on YouTube@emilamok1\nAlso Facebook\, or www.amok.com \nBuy Tickets
